Casual Web Programmers

We are looking for highly talented and enthusiastic web programmers to work with us on a casual, ad-hoc basis. As we pick up more and more projects, small parcels of work will become available for the right people. Ideally you will satisfy the following:
  • Australian based, doesn't really matter where
  • Currently at school or university studying in a Computer Science field, and looking to pick up some extra work & experience on the side. We want people who are keen to learn and appreciate the experience rather than those who are money driven.
  • Advanced level of programming skill in the following:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • ASP and/or PHP
    • Access and/or MySQL and/or SQL Server
  • Ideally some level of competence in the following would be desirable:
    • .NET
    • Image manipulation/editing with Photoshop/Fireworks
    • Dreamweaver (templates, library files, etc)
    • Frontpage
    • Web design skills and/or knowledge of web design principles/standards
Anything else is a bonus. You won't be required to meet with clients and you can work from the comfort of your own home. We are an online company so the majority of correspondence is done via email so clear, proper written English is expected. You would work on a casual hourly rate which will be negotiated.
